What’s The Most Water Damage You’ve Ever Done To A Gadget?

What’s The Most Water Damage You’ve Ever Done To A Gadget?

I think we all know the drill by now. When you drop your phone in the toilet or get pushed into a pool with it in your pocket, it has to go in a bowl of rice. And then there’s the moment of truth where you try to power it on and it either works or it doesn’t. Dems da breaks until more gadget makers wake up and waterproof.

But I’ve definitely had weird variations on this theme. Back in the day I had a Samsung flip phone in the pocket of my rain jacket and two droplets of water became suspended in the LCD screen. They stayed there until I got a new phone a year or so later. I also used to notice condensation in my GameBoy colour screen if it was really humid outside.

What’s the most epic destruction or weirdest non-issue you’ve seen from the interaction of water and gadgets? Let it all come out in the wash below.
