For those playing at home, Catching Fire is the second film in The Hunger Games trilogy. Katniss Everdeen of District 12 has won the 74th Annual Hunger Games with Peeta Mellark and now returns home to find that she inspired people all over Panem to start rising up against the Capitol and President Snow’s reign.
Catching Fire sees the dawn of the Quarter Quell: a special Hunger Games that happens once every 25 years where the Tributes are chosen not from the Districts, but from the crop of Victors.
