The incredible Tesla Model S sedans have already started rolling off the production line to their lucky new owners in the US, but many Aussies seem to still be waiting on a piece of four-wheeled future to call their own. New information, however, might give us some indication of when the Tesla Model S might be rolling into Australian garages.
According to the frankly excellent list of models incoming at The Motor Report, the Model S sedan will hit Australia sometime early next year, with pricing reportedly pegged between $100,000-$200,000. Crikey.
Tesla’s Australian dealer handles order requests out of Sydney, with reservations now open for people who want to put their names down for the Model S sedan iterations or the Model X soft-roader, with down payments ranging from $6000 right up to $60,000.
We’ll have to wait and see when the Tesla Model S lands in Australia, but hopefully it’s sooner rather than later.
