What could be a better use of Photoshop filters than filtering Photoshop? That’s exactly what Device did in this delightfully meta little Photoshop tribute. Warning: you might want to turn down your volume a bit.
The project exists in two distinct parts. First there’s the maniacal video you see above, that shows each Photoshop Cs5 filter one after the other, each accompanied by its own distorted, ear-shattering sound effect. Second, you’ve got this tumblr full of glorious GIFs. Two great tastes that taste great together.
It’s quite as impressive of a pursuit as up-rezzing Doom, but it’s close. And probably a better use of glitzy, superfluous filters than any of us will ever think of. [The Next Web]
