Report: Twitter Is Adding In-Stream Photo Previews

If someone tweets an image, you have to click on the tweet to see it. But now Twitter is reportedly adding a small preview right in your stream.

These image previews has been noticed by a couple of users, which is generally the case when Twitter tests out new features. They appear as small thumbnails on the right side of the tweet. Of course, you’d still have to click to see the full-sized pic. The feed on the left of this picture shows what it looks like, compared to how things are now on the right, via TheNextWeb:

It’s not a huge difference, but it’s noticeable. And it would be a pretty convenient feature to add, though it makes light pranking harder. Has anyone seen this? Let us know. [TheNextWeb]
