Let’s Just Say Star Trek: Voyager Had Some Really Lazy Dialogue

We’ve witnessed Commander Riker’s excellent chair-sitting technique, now it’s time to bask in the glow of Star Trek: Voyager’s somewhat lazy writing and the overuse of the expression “Let’s just say…”.

When you compile all the “Let’s just say…” moments into a single clip, it feels more like an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway… except less funny. The sad thing is, in a lot of situations, you could just cut those three words and the sentence would make just as much sense.

To be fair, all writers have certain tropes they rely on when something has to be done, but this one feels completely superfluous.
