Imagine a world without pain, sickness, war or even death. Then imagine you can’t get to it. Wouldn’t you do anything to break in if they could stop you from dying? That’s roughly the plot of Neil Blomkamp’s Elysium which is being shown off in this hot, hot trailer.
We got a brief look at Elysium a few months ago, but this is the first real chance we’ve had to check out the story.
Matt Damon’s character, Max De Costa, suffers an industrial accident and is told by the robots at his facility that he’ll be dead in five days. After that he vows to get to Elysium — a paradise floating above the Earth where sickness is banished — by breaking in.
This movie looks so good.
