It’s like one by one, each surveillance camera drops the feed in favour of static because of whatever the baddies did. That’s what it was like watching analogue TV in Brisbane yesterday during the digital switchover.

In this video, one by one, each channel goes to static as the analogue signal is shut off.

Brisbane is the third major city — after Adelaide and Perth — to go through the Analogue TV Switch-Off so far, and other cities will get their signals switched off in the next few years.
