The Next Lumia Will Probably Look Like This

Probably the best thing about the Nokia Lumia 920 is how it looks. The flagship has that sleek, colourful polycarbonate, beautiful accents on the camera and curved edges for flair. Beautiful. So now that we’ve found something we all like in Windows Phone 8, it’s time to change it all completely and redesign the best looking phone on the market. Introducing the Lumia Catwalk: a Windows 8 flagship that swaps plastic for cold, shiny metal.

These images were leaked onto the Chinese social network Sina Weibo and reposted by WPCentral, and they show the trademark curved Nokia screen from the Lumia range, paired with a solid, gunmetal silver back cover.

The Catwalk has previously been rumoured to have a Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz processor, 16GB of storage, an 8.7-megapixel OIS-enabled camera (the same as the Lumia 920) and a 2000mAh battery.

WPCentral consulted “sources familiar with the matter” and had it confirmed to them that the leak is solid. Take that for what it’s worth, I guess.

Interestingly, the report says that the Catwalk — complete with its metal construction — will actually be lighter than the polycarbonate Lumia 920 we have all come to know, love and weightlift with. Curious.

Do you want a solid metal Lumia?
