According to a tweet by Facebook Home designer Mike Matas, his team is now working with influential app designer Loren Brichter. That’s right, the man behind Tweetie and Letterpress is now working for Facebook.
We don’t yet know the full nature of Brichter’s relationship with Facebook yet — where he has come on as a full-time staffer or if he’s just consulting (we reached out to Brichter to find out). Either way, it’s a huge win for the social network as it tries to make mobile moves.

Update: Brichter got back to us but declined to comment on the nature of his relationship with Facebook. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
