Daft Punk Fans Are About To Break A Regional Town This Morning [Updated]

Daft Punk really is having the world premiere of their new album, Random Access memories, in a little regional town in Northern NSW called Wee Waa and today, fans of the DJ duo will crush that poor town’s website as tickets for the Wee Waa Regional Show finally go on sale.

There’s just an hour left for fans to get in on the Wee Waa Regional Show, which is more familiar with playing host to woodchopping, fireworks and ute musters than international superstars.

Traffic stats for the Wee Waa show website have shown that over 40,000 people have logged onto the site in just the last three days. It’s a site that has probably only ever amassed 40,000 clicks in its entire time online.

Only around 4000 tickets will be on offer come-9am this morning, so you had better be fast.

Update: At 9:00:01, the VenueTickets website the Wee Waa Regional Show is using to sell tickets went down. We’ll keep trying!
