Earth Hour was celebrated over the weekend, and cities all over the world were shutting their lights off to save energy and promote environmentalism and things. Some crazy lights were flashing over London that night, however, as a crew behind Star Trek Into Darkness decided to fly lit drones into the air near Tower Bridge to form the Starfleet Insignia. This is amazing.
30 quadrotors armed with LED lights formed the almost 100 metre tall logo over London during Earth Hour over the weekend, and man was it spectacular to look at. Why can’t we have nice things, I wonder?
