Coles is running an interesting deal at the moment. If you buy a $30 Telstra recharge, it will sell you a Telstra Prepaid Roamer feature phone for $5.
The Roamer is no great shakes even in the feature phone arena. It’s a ZTE phone with a 0.3MP camera, 2-inch display screen, the earth-shattering ability to play MP3 tracks, and that’s about it. Then again, it’s only $5, which means if you had a relative or friend who only wanted a very simple phone and you needed to recharge another Telstra prepaid service, it would be a great match. [Coles]
