Spotify has a new logo. It’s been pared down, lost its cutesy aesthetic, and it looks better overall, thanks to a little simplicity.
The old overstylised branding bounced at you like a candy pop music beat. On the other hand, the new 2D look is spelled out in Proxima Nova font, and it’s simple and clean.

It’s also worth noting that it’s now Spotify® rather than Spotify™, meaning the name has been registered with the USPTO. We like the new design. What do you think?
