Jawbone Up Wristband Finally Landing In Australia

Jawbone Up Wristband Finally Landing In Australia

The life-tracking Jawbone Up wristband has long been something we pined for as we watch it sit on the wrists of our American friends. Pine no longer, Australians! The Up is finally going on sale in Australia, and thankfully, they left out the Australia Tax.

Designed by Yves Behar, the Up is a fitness band that slides around your wrist and tracks your sleep, exercise and movement habits. It pairs with a piece of software on Android and iOS devices to let you keep tabs on what you’re eating, how you’re feeling and how much exercise you’re doing.

The Up had a troubled launch the first time around, with Jawbone scrapping the product line in the US and taking it back to the drawing board before relaunching it in the US and testing it to see if it would be good for in international deployment this time around. Thankfully, it is cutting the mustard and now it’s set to go on sale in Australia.

It will cost you $149.95 — the same price it is in the US — and it comes in eight colours: Onyx, Mint Green, Light Grey, Blue, Navy Blue, Red, Orange and Hunter Green. It will be available from mid- to late-April in Apple Stores around Australia.

We’ll bring you a local review of the Up shortly. In the meantime, here’s what it looks like inside.
