The good Doctor has travelled through time, space, alternate dimensions and even, regrettably, EastEnders. Sony’s announced that it’s inked a deal that will see Doctor Who head into Playstation Home as well.
The new content will be available on Playstation Home from March 27th with more to follow throughout the year, and will, according to the official release, “immerse gamers in the world of Doctor Who by allowing fans to interact with iconic elements, explore and customize environments, and watch content from the popular television series in a social atmosphere.”
I haven’t been back to Playstation Home since it launched, but I might just be back there very shortly indeed. Given the ability to export to YouTube, expect a lot of exceptionally dodgy Doctor Who machinima quite soon as well; if I had enough time, that’s exactly what I’d be doing.
