Colour-Fading Ombre Chairs: Little Rainbows Of Comfort

Colour-Fading Ombre Chairs: Little Rainbows Of Comfort

It’s hard not to notice ombre everywhere, but hopefully you’re not sick of the trend yet. Because if Werner Aisslinger’s Bikini Island chairs are any indication, it’s not going away anytime soon.

Designed for Italian furniture company Moroso, the series has a dining and a swivel chair in a number of brightly hued gradients — reds, greens, blues and more. They’re wood all over, with a small piece of either fabric or leather covering the back, and their bold colours make these simple chairs just delightful.

Bikini Island will be revealed next month at a design show in Milan, and we don’t know anything about pricing yet. The series also includes various tables, shelves and other pieces, but the chairs are the best part.
