Last year was basically the biggest year ever for Marvel, with the Avengers movie blowing everyone’s expectations out of the water. So what do you make action figures of this year? Plenty, actually.
There’s the new Iron Man 3 movie to start, and the Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble cartoons. And Wolverine has his own line, too, since he’s really Jesus Diaz in disguise.
A bunch of new Jean Greys, some really good looking Wolverine and Cap figures, Phoenix-Cyclops (!), the first Emma Frost from Hasbro, and tons of other stuff. Oh, Rhodey as the Iron Patriot too (suck it, Norman). The Spider-Man figures have a new thing called Stretch & Fire Power Webs, which are really just stretchy webs stuck to Spidey’s arms that you slingshot stuff with.
