Do You Ever Take Time Off From Facebook?

Do You Ever Take Time Off From Facebook?

A new survey from the Pew Research Center suggests that 61 per cent of Facebook users voluntarily take breaks from using the site for weeks at a time. Does that ring true for you?

The users that were interviewed admitted that they step away from Facebook for a handful of reasons:

  • Lack of time to dedicate to pruning their profiles
  • An overall decrease in their interest in the site
  • A general feeling that Facebook is a major waste of time

All good reasons! But do you take time away from your news feed to get over Facebook annoyances? Or are you a fully signed up worshipper of the Zuck, for which a day without Facebook is sacrilege? [Pew Research via All Things D]
