You Guessed It: Samsung’s 85-Inch 4K TV Is Incredibly Expensive

We’ve been bowled over by prices before, but Samsung’s Ultra-HD 4K monster TVs are intense on your hip-pocket.

Samsung showed off the 85-inch Ultra-HD TV at its press conference today — presumably because the 9-foot, 4K big-brother wouldn’t fit through the door.

I was told after the press conference that, although final pricing hadn’t yet been settled, it did look like you would be paying between $25,000 and $30,000 just for the 85-inch model. That’s properly absurd. That makes it more expensive than LG and Sony’s massive 4K TVs.

It boggles the mind as to what the 110-inch version could be.
