Telstra Has A Strange New Year’s Resolution

Telstra just released an ad celebrating a new year, and damn-it-all why shouldn’t it? It’s a brand new day for us to celebrate. The only thing that’s off is the weird pseudo-apology Telstra is jamming into the ad about halfway through.

The ad is full of inspirational clichés to make you feel good about being with Telstra, and them bam: an advance apology for everything it’s going to do wrong this year.

We know we won’t always get it right, but we’ll continue to work hard on new ways to help you connect…

Something you want to tell us, Telstra?

Also, I swear to God the song in this ad (Such Great Heights by The Postal Service) has been used in a trailer for Portal…might just be me. [mUmbrella]
