Electric sports cars are great and all, but what happens when one of the goes bang? It’s a big investment, and that means you can’t take it to just any old chop-shop. Thankfully, Tesla flies its technicians out to fix it for you to save hassle.
Jalopnik brings us the amazing Twitter feed of a motoring journalist who was having troubles with his Model S — the latest Tesla sports car to hit the market. The technician flew across the country overnight to figure out what was wrong with the car, and ordered parts from the scene to try and fix the stricken electric future vehicle.
Before you start moaning that it was only done because the guy is a journo, it’s worth noting that Tesla promises to do this for all of its Model S owners. Nice going, Elon. [Jalopnik]
