Good Luck!

Hell yeah! Now to think of a product to review. Good luck to everyone who enters!

So glad you guys are running this again. The quality of the videos last year was pretty high by the end of the competition.

Hopefully this year I can win

I'll be sure to take a video of my Lumia 920 once it arrives.

You should change your avi from that of an idolised 4chan teenage girl to something a bit more fitting of a man.

Nice choice, I am actually contemplating to pick up a HTC 8X.

Both are really nice phones, but the Lumia seems a little too big and the battery life on the HTC was a little concerning. I'd still give the edge to the 8X at the moment though. It's nice to see some decent phones for Windows 8, that interface is just so slick and it needs the right hardware to back it up.

Yeah i was just talking to the wife last night how much i would love to go to CES. Now to choose which gadget to review.

    " Monday 11th January 2013 (returning on Friday 11th)"

I believe some editing is required here =P

Life of Tech Journo i guess. You arrive in the morning, leave in the evening lol.

I hate competitions that actually require some sort of skill to win :(

Where can we see last years entrance and the winner ??? A link anyone ??

This sounds awesome! Thanks guys for putting on another competition. I'll be sure to enter.

This is much much more than just access to CES. This is by far the craziest tech trip ever, you'll meet all of the tech gurus from around the world and celebrities being paid stupid sums of money to hold and promote products. its a circus!

I won this last year, and I highly recommend you spend a solid week putting together a video. And if you first video doesn't get picked, don't be afraid to put together another video for submission - the gizmodo crew really like to see people that dont give up easily.

Congratulation on Last Year Ben. Was excited to see you participate in the adventures of CES. Hopefully this year I can bring the same level of quality home.

Saddest day of my life :( the one day I don't check Gizmodo and they have this delicious Competition... CES would be amazing.

Enjoy your winnings you lucky buttface. sorry, it's the jealousy.

He won last year -- competition is very much still open for this year. Happiest day of life?! ;)

and this is where I face palm at myself for reading "7th December" as 7th November... if it were a reading test to get in I'd have failed already.
on a positive note best day ever! :D time to get to work.

    What's an "elevator style" video?

It's delivering a pitch that literally takes as long as it does to travel between a ground floor and the top floor of a building. About a minute or so. It's what entrepreneurs do when they want to corner someone for seed money and don't have a meeting. Stop them in an elevator, and tell them their idea, fast. It's the best kind of pitch.

The challenging part is fitting a review that's both creative and informative in such a short amount of time. I've started planning already, it's going to be a lot of fun!

Bottom line: Last year we asked for full video reviews. This year we've made it a little easier/shorter. Hop to it! ;)

Thanks Danny. A shorter time will be easier to make something to the point but entertaining as well.

I was ready to spend hours on this - and then I realised it was over 18. Any way we can get out of this with parental permission/supervision?

LIABILITY ALERT!!!!! Get this child off the forum,

i m 12 yrz old bt mture 4 mah aeg.

Looking forward to voting on the entrants to this competition. I will be preparing something special to enter as well...! :)

    I wish I wasn't so camera shy :)

Not sure what Danny and Luke are after, but you could always create a video where you aren't on camera. I think the key is to get across your personality and that you can review stuff.

Was Sean P's a review or a commercial? Did it even make sense? I still don't know exactly what the product was.

I'd rather just ask politely for the prize.... Gizmodo. May I please have the prize? Thank you.

Wow I just looked at the results! Thanks so much for your votes everyone, I am extremely humbled.

Hey Gizmodo, thanks for putting my submission up! :) Just one small problem, you've accidentally spelled my name wrong in the voting section, it's Abhi, so it would be great if you could fix that, thanks :) This competition is amazing, and winning it would seriously be a dream come true :)

Nice video. What you think of the pentile display on the S3 vs non-pentile display?

Hey Muhammad, likewise! I like your editing too! I wish I had more time and better equipment to work with, but I've got a couple of uni exams right around the corner so I had to improvise. Yeah, I have noticed that the pentile display is a little grainy when viewed up really close, but luckily whilst viewing from the average distance of around a foot, the difference is really negligible. :) Given that the Note 2 has managed to get an RGB matrix into a HD SAMOLED screen means the S4 next year should have it too :)

100% agree. I have the Galaxy Nexus but I found always something odd about the screen. I wish the Note 2 came with stock JB and it would have sold me! :)

Haha yeah, I had the GNex too, and it was a great phone, just not as good for video as the S3... which as you can see, is very important to me lol.

I believe PenTile displays use less power and can be pushed brighter than RGB stripe displays, so there's some benefit there too. Personally though, I think I prefer the RGB stripe screens.

Has anyone picked up the CES app? It has regularly updated information about CES 2013 all in one place. Thanks Gizmodo for putting on such an amazing competition again, most of us wouldn't have a chance of seeing some of the latest innovations otherwise. There's a lot of great videos that have already been submitted.
I'll be submitting my entry very soon, just in the editing phase at the moment.

Thanks for the continued support on the votes! I would love to represent and bring you guys some awesome content from CES 2013! I am excited! Its also my 22nd Birthday as of the 29th so hopefully should be an awesome adventure. Good luck to all the other entrants, some really enthusiastic people are involved.

    Just submitted my video!
I'm 21, and I would love to go to CES 2013 and make content for you guys. I learnt so much in the process of making my video, and it'd be awesome to use those skills for CES content.

Can I please ask...can people vote once? or once per day? or once per IP address?
And do they have to be logged in to vote? Thanks :)
