James Bond’s Sony Xperia Gets Australian Price, Local Release Date

Xperia….Sony, Xperia. It’s the eve of the Skyfall release, and before you go to see the latest instalment of everyone’s favourite clandestine gentleman murderer, here are all the details you need to get your hands on James Bond’s phone: the Sony Xperia TX.

It’s known internationally as the Xperia TL or just the Xperia T, but whatever it’s called, it’s still packing some serious hardware.

Under the deep, black 4.6-inch screen and the phone’s arched back lies a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 64GB via microSD), and an awesome-looking 13-megapixel camera, all packed into the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

On top of that, it supports Miracast screen sharing, NFC sharing and it comes PlayStation Certified out of the box for all your gaming needs.

You won’t be able to pay Q a visit to pick up the Xperia TL, but you can get it from Vodafone instead.

Vodafone will carry the phone for $0 on a $50 plan for 24 months, or you can snag it for $629 outright from a Sony Centre. You’ll be able to pick it up from November 28.
