New vending machines are going to display how many calories are in your body-expanding soft drinks and offer some healthier alternatives. But is that going to actually matter? At all? No, right?

The new information on vending machines comes after New York City’s approved ban of all sugary drinks larger than 475mL. But that causes actual inconvenience in buying a bunch of unhealthy stuff. This just requires you to look at — or casually glance past — the damage you’re going to do to your body. Look how well it’s worked at McDonald’s.

Would this get you to actually change anything? Will it? “HELL NO” seems like an easy answer, but am I missing something? [CBS]
