This Insane Pinball Machine Is Made Only From K'Nex

Everybody wants a pinball machine of their own, but the problem is that those suckers tend to be pretty expensive. There's a way around that though, if you're determined enough; build your own out of K'Nex. The results can be pretty awesome.

This particular K'Nex pinball machine was built by instructables user Alocke, and the impressiveness of it lies not so much in the board itself, but the crazy lifts that ferry the balls around should they wind up in one of the machines several holes. It's definitely one of the coolest K'Nex pinball machines I've ever seen, and I'd love to get a chance to play with it. Not enough to bother trying to build one myself though. [Instructables]

multiball! jackpot! the pinball flippers are a fun addition. Although building it would still be much more fun than playing it.

Very, very cool. Watching it takes me back to my childhood, though I never able to make anything nearly as complex during my K'nex career.
I'm curious as to how many boxes of K'nex would've been needed to make such a thing, and how much it all cost; it might have been cheaper just to buy a pinball machine after all.

    Epic build.

I remember the most elaborate k'nex I made when I was younger, was a 3 foot long star wars y-wing.

    Freakin awesome bit of work.
However, I can't help think that all that K'nex gear would probably actually cost more than a second hand pinball machine.
