Jimmy Kimmel Showed People An iPod Touch And Told Them It Was The New iPad Mini

In a hilarious prank that shows how the Apple advertising machine works on people who don’t live and breath technology, Jimmy Kimmel showed people an iPod Touch and told them it was the new iPad Mini. What did people say? You guessed it! Ooh, smaller, lighter, brighter and better!

Like when we showed people the iPad 2 claiming it was the iPad 3, the people walking by didn’t even question the fact that they were holding an iPod Touch and not a new iPad Mini. They complemented the smallness of the screen, how they could fit it inside a pocket, how it was cutting edge and said they would definitely buy one over an iPad. I’m going to guess that a few of them already had an iPhone in their pocket. [YouTube]
