Maps are great, and they come in many forms that show different features of the planet we inhabit. You can see many of those different styles of maps in HarperCollins’ new Atlas app.
What does it do?
Lets you explore the world in a variety of 3D interactive globes.
Why do we like it?
It beautifully displays data in dozens of different maps. You might want to see a straight political map. But maybe you’re interested to see which country consumes the most natural gas or which region has the highest concentration of endangered species. Atlas will show you all that data, and so much more. And HarperCollins says it will continue to add more maps to the app. I wish this was around when I was in school.
