The Kone Brewing System is as good excuse as any to ditch your crappy drip coffeemaker — it’s quite fetching, and it should give you a cup with a richer, fuller taste.
It’s available for $US160 on preorder, but word has it that it already started to popping up in specialty shops. Hand brew up to 900 grams of java using the computer-designed Kone filter and when you’re done, you can remove the top piece with a lid and it becomes a serving vessel.
