It’s worth noting that even though it’s being discontinued, it’s still eligible for iOS 6. The 3GS was actually a proto-boring iPhone. It was great at the time, but it was also received as not new, not fresh and not worth upgrading from the previous iPhone. It’s actually a familiar song by now.
