I love the iiNet Guy. His name is Finn, and he’s polite, Irish and a little bit handsome, but today it was announced that the marketing agency responsible for the creation of Finn recently resigned the account. Is this the end of the iiNet Guy?
mUmbrella reports that iiNet’s marketing agency Meerkats recently resigned the account, with another player, BWM, selected to step into the breech.
Finn was born out of Meerkats, and BWM have declined to comment to us about whether or not they’ll use him in the future.
I think it’s time we all get ready for the fact that Australia’s most loveable brand mascot isn’t going to be with us much longer. In the meantime, enjoy the outtakes below.
