An Adorable Strawberry Knife Feeds My Unfortunate Kitchen Gadget Addiction

My kitchen is the size of a walk-in closet and has less drawer space than the dresser in my bedroom. But does that stop the constant influx of novelty kitchen gadgets and uni-tasking tools? Seemingly not. I don’t even really like strawberries, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be finding a spot to cram this cute and colourful $US12 berry-prepping knife from Kuhn Rikon.

In reality any old knife can be used to hack the top off a strawberry and slice it up. I’m pretty sure I even used a popsicle stick once. But neither of those has an adorable green steel blade blade, a matching green huller, and a strawberry textured handle. How could anyone NOT love this? Even if you were deathly allergic to strawberries I’m pretty sure you couldn’t resist the lure of pushing the ‘Add to cart’ button on this one. After all, in a pinch it could probably even be used with raspberries — unless Kuhn Rikon has a special knife for those too! Do they? I don’t know how much more room I can make.
