The big release date for Windows 8 has long been set for October 26. But what about Windows Phone 8? Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet reports that Windows Phone 8 will be launching just a few days later on October 29.
It’s all a little confusing because Samsung just revealed its new Windows Phone 8 hardware and Nokia is expected to bring out the big guns next week. But Microsoft itself won’t “launch” Windows Phone 8 until the end of October, which will be nearly two months after the fact. So take a glimpse now and buy your Windows Phones from November onwards.
