In early 2009, I was in a journalism class at university. The professor asked who in the lecture was using Twitter. A paltry two or three students of the 150 budding Bernsteins raised their hands. She declared that that number must be multiplied exponentially and required us all to make accounts.
That’s the reason I joined Twitter. I was reluctant at first, but now I’m somewhat of a junkie. Yesterday’s posts about the worst tweets from the first year of Twitter got me thinking about it. So when did you start tweeting, and what prompted you to do so?
