Tech Blip Sees 18-Minute Firework Display Last Just 10 Seconds

Lots of fireworks went off in the US for the Fourth of July celebrations. But in San Diego a technical fault saw the city's display — which was supposed to last for 18 mesmerising minutes — go off in just 10 seconds. Oops.

While it was no doubt disappointing on some level, the result is actually spectacular. Short-lived, yes, but those fireworks burn ferociously bright, producing a terrifying but awe-inspiring scene. Fortunately, nobody was hurt as a result of the malfunction. [The Next Web]

The lure of 18 minutes of fireworks.... the reality of a 10 second fireball!

It's okay Mr Fireworks.... it happens to the best of us once in a while! ;)

Oh and the pure fact that after the first 2 minutes your over it, same as why 3D films are useless.

"do you suffer from premature ignition?"

i want to see fireworks this way at least once
