Kogan Is Now Selling A Collingwood-Branded TV

Kogan is a brand synonymous with classy products and discreet marketing. Oh wait, that’s wrong. It’s the opposite. Kogan is adding to that garish product line up today with the first TV to be branded with the logo of an AFL team, Collingwood.

AFL is the one with the oval ball and tiny shorts, right?

The new 42-inch HD LED TV is branded with the Collingwood Football Club logo, as is the remote, and in a touch of class, every time you turn on the TV the black and white flag and logo will fill the screen.

You’ll pay $449 for this piece of sports-laden tech. That’s actually a discount of $20 on the non-branded model which will set you back $469.

Before you go thinking this is an unofficial Collingwood TV, Eddie McGuire, President of the Collingwood Football Club has said that he’s very excited about the new partnership:

“Kogan is an Aussie home grown success story which is why they’re the perfect partner for Collingwood, an Australian sporting icon. Watching Collingwood win another premiership on a Collingwood TV is the next best thing to being there at a packed MCG.”

The moment Ruslan Kogan shared this idea with me, I knew we were onto a winner,” McGuire added.

Now I’m turned off by the idea by way of not being a sports fan, but is this something that you lot would pay cash money for?
