I’d like to dedicate this one to the Iranian nuclear program that was allegedly struck by a malicious cyberattack this week. It saw AC/DC blasted over their speakers during the attack, and those guys have a special place in my heart.
I’ve written some new lyrics I think you’ll all enjoy and embedded the original so you can sing along.
Original lyrics and music by Angus and Malcolm Young. Performed by AC/DC.
Atrocious parody lyrics written by Luke Hopewell
(Blunder x 10)
I was Caught
In the middle of a cyber attaaaaaack (BLUNDER)
I looked round
And I knew it was no normal hack (BLUNDER)
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do? (BLUNDER)
And I knew
There was no help, and nought I could do. (BLUNDER)
Sound of the Young
Beatin’ in my haaaalls
The blunder of one (it)
Tore us apart
You’ve been — BLUNDERSTRUCK!
They Hit our Siemens
Broke encryption, they shut it down
Went through VPN, VPN
And then they were done
They hit Natanz
Some hackers, they had a good time
Broke all the rules, played us for fools
Yeah, yeah, they, they, they blew our minds
I was shakin’ at the knees
Could you answer me please?
No traces I could find
We’ve been – blunderstruck, blunderstruck
Yeah yeah yeah, blunderstruck
Oh, blunderstruck, yeah
Thought I’d email the team
So could you answer me please?
(Insert sweet licks here)
Yeah yeah yeah, thunderstruck
Blunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah
Said no, this ain’t right
We’re not fine
Yeah, it’s not right
We’re not fine
Blunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Blunderstruck, blunderstruck, blunderstruck
Whoa baby, baby, blunderstruck
We’ve been blunderstruck, blunderstruck
We’ve been blunderstruck
