Now that the high-resolution retina display has hit the MacBook Pro, it’s almost certain we’ll see a retina display on a MacBook Air sometime in the future. But what will these displays look like?
It would be simple enough to assume that like the MacBook Pro, the retina displays on 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Airs will be twice the resolution of the current models. GDGT crunched the numbers, and realised that because the MacBook Air already has a relatively high pixel density, they’ll likely follow a different path. Are you ready for a 13-inch MBA with a whopping 2560 x 1600 resolution? We are. Head over to GDGT for more on what the retina future holds for its 11-inch little brother and Apple’s iMac line of all-in-ones. [GDGT]
