Microsoft Plans To Unveil ‘Smart Glass’ At E3

According to a report from the Examiner’s Nicholas Gigante, Microsoft is ready to debut a revolutionary XBox 360-integrated system at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo, June 5th-7th. Various outlets are describing it as either an actual, physical tablet or as “companion application.”

Either way, it will reportedly work much like an MS version of Airplay — allowing users to remotely control their 360 on multiple operating systems including the Big Three, access applications like Netflix and Hulu Plus through the Windows Live (or whatever they’re calling it now) UI, and even stream content from the tablet back to the 360. Details are still very sketchy at this point but we should see more emerge as E3 draws near. [Examiner]
