Apple MagSafe 2 Chargers Smaller, Skinnier, Probably Expensive

Apple's MagSafe chargers are getting smaller. Apple just announced MagSafe 2, a slimmer version of the charger found on the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. That means more space for the super-skinny, next-gen MacBook Pro, but it also means you've got to go out and buy new chargers if you use more than one.

Is it worth the trade-off? Probably. That won't make your wallet feel any better about it.

and it will fail like all their other power adapters. this has always been their weekest point... every macbook i have had the laptop outlasts the adapter 3:1. and of course they stop manufacturing them after a while and you are forced to buy a new computer.

why would you need to go out and buy chargers?
the macbooks come with one charger, and if you buy many, youll have many.

you wouldnt need to go out and buy seperate chargers, because your old macbooks would still require the old charger?

Some people like to have more than one charger. eg. One to keep plugged in at the desk and one for when for when you leave the house.

I know I have more than my fair share of Mac chargers floating around. I think off the top of my head that I have five or six. I HATE being out of power.

is that only 1 usb port???

Clearly they're showing both sides of it. There are two.
