Close Encounters of the Third Kind is one of my favourite movies ever, which is why I imagine our first contact with aliens like the video above: all pretty light and pretty music and pretty choreography.
This video shows 16 quadrotors interacting with each other using light and sound at the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase 2012. Some of the sequences are pretty bloody impressive, so all hail the drones, for they would destroy or amuse us all forever. [Thanks Karl!]
