Free Samsung Galaxy Note Could Be Just A Postcard Away

Despite whether it fits comfortably or not, Samsung’s keen to get its Galaxy Note into your hands — even if it means doing it sans cash exchange. The company is deploying stands for short stints at shopping centres around Australia and if you happen to visit one while it’s erected, you’ll be giving a chance to snag a free Samsung Galaxy Note.

Here are the details from the Galaxy Note website:

To celebrate the launch, we’re giving you the opportunity to experience the creativity possible with the Samsung GALAXY Note. Visit one of our stands around the country and you could win this fantastic device simply by creating your own postcard.

Once it’s created, we will send your postcard virtually anywhere in the world. That’s right, you can create almost any postcard, enter your details and Samsung can send your postcard to friends or family virtually anywhere in the world.

Unfortunately, you can’t just visit the website and do everything there. Samsung is touring the nation to show of the Galaxy Note and you’ll have to intercept one of its stands to put your postcard together. Going by the schedule (bottom of the page), Samsung will be finishing up at the Knox Shopping Centre in Victoria tomorrow (June 10), before heading off to Westfield Hornsby in NSW.

If you’re looking for inspiration (or want to check out the competition) a gallery of postcards made so far can be found on Samsung’s Galaxy Note website.

If you don’t fancy your chances, Samsung’s also offering $50 cash back on the device, if you purchase a one inside a participating shopping centre while one of its stands is there. As usual, there are terms and conditions, so be sure to check those out beforehand.
