You Can’t Make This Inspired Cookie Tray Crumple

Great objects are often overlooked or dismissed because of context. And here’s a perfect example. This cookie tray from GamaGo is inspired by the crumple-tastic disposable plastic from within most packages of store-bought cookies. Take the same design, remake it from hand-blown glass, and BOOM — it is now an objet d’art.

Of course, it could just be the novelty of elevating such a mundane object that tickles our fancy enough to display this thing on a kitchen table. Either way, I doubt it feels as satisfying to squish the glass version up into a ball. [GamaGo via The Awesomer]
