Lego Dante’s Inferno Is Hellishly Good

The beauty of Lego is that you really can make anything out of it. Anything at all — even the darkest pits of hell itself.

Modeller Mihai Mihu took a year to put together all nine circles of Dante’s Inferno in Lego form. He told Brothers Brick that the inspiration for the idea came from a competition he’d entered where he was limited to only two Lego colours; the eventual design was said to be “lifeless”, and that gave him the inspiration to remake it into Limbo. From there, the circles were born, representing Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Anger, Heresy, Violence, Fraud and Treachery. [Brothers Brick via Geekosystem]
