Disneyland Fan Builds Working Electrical Parade Model On His Coffee Table

There are some truly devoted Disneyland fans out there who visit so often they know every single detail about the park. But seemingly none are as devoted as Alex George, who can now visit the park whenever he’s home thanks to this awesome miniature version of the Main Street Electrical Parade in his living room.

Built over two years, not only does the table include a surprisingly detailed miniature version of Disneyland’s quaint main street, but also its famous glowing electric parade. Hidden inside the table is a hand built chain-driven sprocket system which moves the tiny floats around the parade route, while computer controlled LEDs cause them to flicker and glow from within. It turns out it’s an even smaller world after all than we thought. [By George, I Think You’ve Got It via BoingBoing]
