They sure don’t make them like The Muppet Show any more — and more’s the pity. Even the original pitch reel for The Muppets, sent to US network CBS is a work of genius.
By very definition, this isn’t new — and some of you may have seen this before — but how can you not love a Muppet pitch that features Jim Henson going utterly berzerk?
So insane, in fact, that as the Muppet Wiki points out, the original full pitch reel ends with Kermit The Frog (Henson again, naturally) coming in and asking what the hell the preceeding pitch actually was?
