Per 9to5’s sources, iTunes 11 will support iOS 6, the reputed operating system of the next iPhone. And, since Apple tends to only release major updates alongside marquee OS and device announcements, it’s likely we won’t see iTunes 11 until later this year, whenever the iPhone 5 is announced — though that doesn’t mean Apple won’t slip a couple more minor updates in before then. In addition, iTunes 11 is expected to see deeper integration with the iCloud service — including iCloud receiving its own settings panel to control iTunes Match, iTunes in the Cloud and device backups.
