The US Marine Corps kick arse because they are amazing, and because they are badass, and because their pilots ride Veritech VF-1 Valkyries, as this night shot clearly shows.
OK, it’s not a Veritech VF-1 Valkyrie, it’s an AV-8B Harrier with Marine Attack Squadron 311 landing vertically on the deck of the USS Essex on March 6. But the image is so bloody amazingly cool that it can be a VF-1, OK? [US Marine Corps]
