Do you ever wear a jacket, and then the sun comes out, and your skin feels aflame, so you just tear the jacket to shreds with your jagged nails? Yes — but wouldn’t it be better if the sleeves disappeared?
What Is It?
A jacket that turns into a vest via detachable sleeves.
Who’s it For?
People who like the idea of a jacket but can’t commit beyond the idea of a vest.
Design
The all-important “transformer” sleeves are hard to attach and easy to lose because of extremely weak magnet connectors. They fall off while executing tasks like “walking” and “lifting things”.
Using It
In cold weather scenarios, put on the jacket, and zip it up. If you don’t want to wear the sleeves for some reason, pull them off, and then just carry them I guess? Or if you’re in a survival situation, eat them.
The Best Part
The jacket keeps you warmer than if you were not wearing a jacket.
Tragic Flaw
Nothing about this jacket makes sense or works, even nonsensically. The magnets for the sleeves are too weak. The pockets, too small to be useful.
This Is Weird…
The Transformer boasts a “personal area network” (hahaha) that packages all of your stuff (?) into 20 different pockets. This is an appalling glut of pockets and zippers and pouches, none of which make obvious their purpose.
Should You Buy It?
No.
