Olympus Supporting Cancer Research With Limited Edition Orange Cameras

Olympus has gotten on board with Cancer fundraising group Can Too by releasing an orange version of its VG-160 digital camera and pledging to donate a portion of sale proceeds to the group.

The initiative is said (according to Olympus’ release) to be at the behest of Olympus Imaging Australia’s MD, Marc Radatt:

“I became aware of Can Too whilst taking part in the Olympus Tough Fine Ocean Swimmers Series. Olympus is proud to be associated with an organisation that combines health and well-being, social interaction and inclusion of every day folks into a fund raising initiative for cancer research. We hope our partnership will provide a boost to Can Too’s fund-raising efforts for Cure Cancer Australia.”

Cameras bearing the Can Too sticker are eligible for the donation drive, and should be in stores now. [Olympus Australia]
